Dungeoneering

A solo RPG of dungeon exploration; encountering monsters, magic, potions and treasure, played with a deck of cards and a 6-sided die.

Your sense of adventure has peaked, after hearing so many tales of riches and the intrepid evasion of traps along with the dominance of the plethora of monsters faced by those who returned from the caves, you’ve decided that it is time to take your trusty dagger and head to the entrance yourself and face whatever lays inside; returning forthwith with tales of your own and enough treasure to keep a heady stock of ale and food.

Dungeoneering has been designed as an easy-to-pick-up solo adventure, creating new experiences and encounters with every play; to begin your journey, you just need a deck of playing cards, a 6-sided die and a piece of paper. A pen is also useful.

There are monsters to defeat, treasures to find, traps to disable, potions to experiment with and weapons to discover; you may even find a rare magical weapon to allow you to fight the dreaded undead.  You can also rest up for a while to catch your breath and recover your health, tarry too long though and a wandering encounter may find you...

Engage in epic battles, as you aim and strike, parry or miss your attack.  Some of the creatures travel in packs and there are Grand monsters to be encountered who may provide you with precious items upon defeat or will require you to flee to remain alive.

Find potions and weapons upon your journey; will you risk using them if you don't know what they are?
